About Us

Rod is the founder of Rod Alexander Inclusive Supports and has dedicated his working life to supporting people with disability and those experiencing challenging life circumstances.

With extensive experience supporting autistic individuals, people with diverse support needs and young people experiencing homelessness, Rod understands that everyone's circumstances, experiences and goals are different.

His experience includes helping people navigate complex support systems and access short-term, medium-term and specialist disability accommodation, particularly when facing housing instability or significant barriers to accessing appropriate support.

Rod holds a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed. (Hons.)) Degree, Strathclyde University and has completed training in Mental Health First Aid. Rod practises ongoing Continuous Professional Development with DSC Training.

At the heart of Rod's approach is a commitment to listening, understanding and building genuine relationships.

He believes meaningful support begins with taking the time to understand each person's experiences, strengths, needs and aspirations, rather than making assumptions about what is best for them.

Rod and the team at RAIS are committed to providing inclusive, neuroaffirming and trauma-informed support that respects individual choice, autonomy and dignity.

Through established connections with NDIS providers across allied health, employment, accommodation and in-home supports, RAIS helps people navigate services, strengthen community connections and build the confidence and capacity to work towards goals that matter to them.
